Agnese BabiniVisiting Graduate Student, Conservation Science, University of Bologna

Agnese Babini is a graduate student in Science for Conservation from the University of Bologna. She received her BS in Technologies for Conservation of Cultural Heritage from the University of Bologna with a thesis on the proposal of analytical protocols for the authentication of works of art and cultural materials. During her BS studies, she spent one year at the University of California, Los Angeles, where she studied Art Conservation, Material Science, and Mineralogy. Agnese joined the Center for Scientific Studies in the Arts in June 2017 as part of her master's thesis internship, working on the application of dictionary learning methods for the unmixing of hyperspectral images.
